FIELD: methods for manufacture of printed matter. SUBSTANCE: the method consists in forming of stacks of plastic, stacks of protective laminate, coding of plastic cards and application of a identification number and personal data of the plastic card holder on each of them. The formed stack also contains a chip-module. Coding of plastic cards is accomplished simultaneously with their manufacture. At coding the information on the holder, term of action of the plastic card is applied in the zones of memory of the chip-module, and the unique identified number of the plastic card is formed in compliance with the code of the holder category, design code, date of issue, ordinal number and the personal data of the plastic card holder. The file of conformity between the numbers of the plastic card chip-modules and the unique identification numbers of plastic cards is formed on the basis of the base of the data of the chip-modules and the base of the personal data, the base of the personal data is formed on the basis of electronic treatment of data in the fields of the questionnaires made for identification of the plastic card holder. EFFECT: enhanced reliability and protection of plastic cards due to electronic data in all the stages of the printed matter, provided check-up of compliance of the plastic card number to the chip-module number thus ensuring determination of the genuine holder of the plastic card. 4 cl
