METHOD FOR PROGRESSIVE MULTIROW BLANKING AND DIE SET FOR PERFORMING THE SAME

FIELD: plastic metal working, possibly manufacture of complex shape parts. SUBSTANCE: method comprises steps of blanking parts from strip according to transitions in die set while basing strip at each transition and moving it by predetermined pitch; beginning from third transition basing strip along contour of parts blanked at previous transitions; at first transition basing strip by means of temporary stop and removing said stop at second transition; realizing motion of strip by predetermined pitch while alternatively shifting strip to opposite sides normally relative to pitch motion direction; performing blanking in die set having punch, die with working opening and stopper arranged near working opening of die. Stopper has working surface similar to that of punch and end basic surface for basing strip at second transition. Die set is provided with temporary stop with basic surfaces for basing strip at first transition and with stripper. The last has lateral basic surface for basing strip at second transition. EFFECT: lowered quantity of waste material, reduced cost of die fitting, decreased technological effort. 2 cl, 4 dwg
