FIELD: antenna engineering. SUBSTANCE: proposed antenna that may be used as transceiving antenna both separately and as part of radiating element of planar antenna array has insulating substrate carrying on one side metal screen and on other one, metal strip symmetrical relative to its longitudinal axis; insulating substrate thickness is not over 0,2lambda,; metal strip end is not electrically connected to metal screen; strip width periodically varies lengthwise of antenna so that within time period T its shape is formed by sections of straight line. Mathematical relations for computing geometrical dimensions of strip-line antenna are given in description of invention.
