FIELD: production of activated carbon and organic products from carbon-containing materials. SUBSTANCE: method includes preparation of raw materials for processing, introduction into raw materials of reaction additives in course of raw materials preparation, supply of raw materials to chambers of preliminary heating and carbonization with heating up to 150-250 C, activation and ageing stages. Heating of raw materials is effected away from inlet of chamber of preliminary heating of raw materials. In so doing, continuous withdrawal of vapor-gas mixture and water-organic condensate takes place from collecting cavities made above chambers of preliminary heating and carbonization of raw materials. EFFECT: higher efficiency of method due to high-quality of produced carbon and higher productivity and reliability of device. 10 cl, 3 dwg
