The tricycle includes a central frame (A) carrying a seat (E). The tricycle has a front wheel (C) with a pedals (D). At the rear there is a triangular structure (A1, A2) extending down to the rear axis (B) and wheels (G,H). The tricycle includes a central axial frame member (A) on which a seat (E) is supported. At the front this leads to a pivoting set of forks accommodating the front wheel (C) with a telescopic support (Q). The wheel has pedals (D) mounted directly on its axis. At the rear the axial frame member is linked to a joint (A3) which also connected to a triangular structure (A1, A2) extending down to the rear axis (B) and wheels (G,H). This structure may also carry an electrical pedal assistance system. The central joint (A3) also carries an upright post supporting two arms (J,K) providing support for the rider when seated on the seat (E). Within this there may be a socket (N) providing a support for a rain cover, photoelectric cells and an indicator light.
