PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To attain the stabilization of the operation of a movable part in an objective lens driving device and the miniaturization thereof. SOLUTION: The device is provided with: a fixed part 10 having a supporting shaft part 14, at least a pair of yoke parts 13, 13 formed of a magnetic material, focusing coils 15, 15 and tracking coils 16, 16,...; and the movable part 11 which is supported so as to turn freely around the axial direction of the supporting shaft part and to freely slide in the axial direction of the supporting shaft part and also operated in the focusing direction and tracking direction. On this movable part, magnets 20, 20 having one pair of poles for both are mounted while being arranged so as to confront with the yoke parts. COPYRIGHT: (C)2003,JPO
