PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a parallel computer system capable of improving the reliability of a system by excluding a calculation node being in a situation that the abnormal termination may be generated during the calculation, from an object in advance. SOLUTION: In this parallel computer system 10 comprising a master computer 20 and a plurality of calculation nodes 30, the calculation node selected from the plurality of calculation nodes refers a shared file 25 of the master computer to process a program in parallel, and the selection of the calculation node is performed on the basis of whether the calculation node can refer the shared file of the master computer or not.
