PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an e-mail transmitting and receiving system capable of forming an e-mail friendly to or giving an impact to a receiver without deteriorating the quality of a document. SOLUTION: This system comprises a means 11 for storing a received e-mail; a display means 12; a voice composing output means 13 for converting the data constituting the e-mail to voice and outputting it to a speaker 14; and a control means 10. The control means 10 judges the identification information of the e-mail stored in the storage means 11 and performs a control to transmit the data constituting the e-mail instructed by the identification information to the voice composing output means 13 and display the data other than it on the display means 13.
