PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a compound having a steroid C17, 20 lyase inhibitory activity, and useful as a preventing and treating agent of a tumor such as prostatism, breast cancer, etc., and a method for separating an optically active form of the compound from a mixture of optical isomers in a good efficiency. SOLUTION: This compound expressed by formula (1) (wherein, each of the marks has the same meaning as defined in the specification), its salt or its prodrug are provided and the method for obtaining the optical isomer is provided by performing an optical resolution of the mixture of the optical isomers by using an optical resolution agent such as a tartranilic acid, etc. COPYRIGHT: (C)2003,JPO
