<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To read a received message aloud in the voice of a sender oneself without any complicated registering operation. <P>SOLUTION: When a telephone call is made in voice through a communication control part 2 and a handset part 3, a voice feature extraction part 7 generates voice feature data from the voice of a call party obtained through the telephone call. An individual data storage part 8 stores the voice feature data obtained by the voice feature extraction part 7 while making the data correspond to the call partner. When an electronic mail reception part 4 receives a message including text data, a voice synthesis part 12 obtains the voice feature data of a communication partner corresponding to the sender of the message from the individual data storage part 8 and generates synthesized voice data for the text data included in the message by using the obtained voice feature data.
