<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide the pipe connecting structure of a manhole capable of connecting piping only by an operation from the manhole inside in an earthquake-resistant joint structure capable of absorbing the displacement of the manhole and the piping. <P>SOLUTION: The pipe connecting structure of the manhole has a joint body 14 with a cylindrical body section 19 inserted between a piping end connection 12 and the piping 13 and a fixed collar section 20 along the inner circumferential surface of the manhole, a sealing material 15 inserted between the inner circumferential surface of the cylindrical body section and the outer circumference of the piping, a pair of sealing-material pinching members 16 and 17 pinching the sealing material and clamping bolts 18 clamping the mutual sealing-material pinching sections. The sealing material is projected in the piping diametral direction and a section between the inner circumference of the cylindrical body section and the outer circumference of the piping is sealed by clamping the clamping bolts and narrowing a space between both sealing-material pinching members. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2003,JPO</p> |
