PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To achieve miniaturization and to suppress the generation of crosstalk between a pair of separately arranged rotary transformers regarding a rotary head drum device having a pair of separately arranged rotary transformers and a magnetic recording/reproducing device. SOLUTION: The rotary head drum device having a rotary drum 33 and a rotary transformer is constituted of a recording rotary transformer 38 and a reproducing rotary transformer 39a which are arranged separately. In the middle position of a magnetic path between recording coils 40a, 40b disposed on the recording rotary transformer 38 and reproducing coils 41a, 41b disposed on the reproducing rotary transformer 39A, a short ring 44 is arranged to prevent crosstalk between both coils.
