PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a liquid crystal driving circuit which can accurately control the response speed of a liquid crystal by adequately controlling voltage applied to the liquid crystal. SOLUTION: This liquid crystal driving circuit comprises a means for outputting an encoded image corresponding to a current image by encoding the current image, a means for outputting a 1st decoded image corresponding to the current image by decoding the encoded image, a means for outputting a 2nd decoded image corresponding to the image which is one frame precedent to the current image by decoding the encoded image with a delay of a period corresponding to one frame, a means for outputting correction data for correcting gradation values of the current image according to the 1st decoded image and 2nd decoded image, and a means for generating image data according to the correction data and the current image.
