PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a paving body, which can inhibit the temperature elevation of a road surface for a prolonged time when water retains once, in which there is no problem of a deterioration with time or the like as seen in a water- absorbing resin and the construction works of which are facilitated and the construction time of which can be shortened. SOLUTION: The paving body 1 can be laminated and formed on an existing asphalt pavement 2. The paving body 1 is built by forming porous curing bodies (such as open-graded asphalt mixtures) 3 and filling the insides of the continuous voids of the porous curing bodies 3 with slurry-like fillers 4 containing cement, clay impalpable powder, water or the like. The clay impalpable powder mainly comprises impalpable powder having a grain size of 5μm or less. The impalpable powder contains a clay mineral such as a montmorillonite and one or more of inorganic powders selected from blast-furnace slag impalpable powder, fly ash, silica, limestone powder and a silica fume.
