Soundproofing panel has a sandwich structure made from two rigid layers (12, 14) e.g. of aluminum or steel, and a core (20) comprising a rigid filling material (22) against the inner layer (14), and an element (26) of a first thin sheet material, essentially an elastomer such as rubber with optional mineral fillers and a density of at least 100 kg/cu m.
