<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image forming apparatus constituted so that a main power source is easily turned on even in a state where an outside cover is opened when a service engineer performs the maintenance care of component elements in the main body of an image forming apparatus other than a photoreceptor drum unit. <P>SOLUTION: A housing part 8 in which a blocking member 4 blocking the entrance of the toner path of the photoreceptor drum unit 2 can be housed is provided inside the outside cover 5 which can be opened/closed. When the image forming apparatus is not used, the member 4 is housed in the housing part 8, whereby the member 4 is prevented from being lost. In the case of the maintenance care of the unit 2 in the main body 3, the unit 2 is easily taken out, and the leakage of the toner from the unit 2 is surely prevented. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2003,JPO |
