<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve the problem that a portable telephone is driven by very small electrical energy of the order of milliamperes because an electrical energy source which drives the portable telephone and is carried by a user is located very close to a human body even through it is brought into close contact with it through the intermediary of his clothes, on the other hand, the portable telephone must keep its standby function ready continuously so as to receive communications from outside and also must keep consuming electrical energy continuously, and electrical energy supplied to the portable telephone must avoid being interrupted, so that a rechargeable cell is used as a power supply for the portable telephone, the rechargeable cell requires a power as a charging source, and therefore the portable telephone almost can not be used in an undeveloped region where an electrical power infrastructure is not enough. <P>SOLUTION: This invention designed for the portable telephone takes advantage of a user's hands which open or fold a hinged twice-folded portable telephone to drive a piezoelectric power generating unit for ensuring a power supply for the potable telephone. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2003,JPO |
