<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image forming apparatus capable of restraining even a void image caused by supplying the excessive amount of lubricant to a photoreceptor belt 11 while restraining the deterioration of image quality with the lapse of time caused as the supply amount of the lubricant to the belt 11 gets smaller and smaller. <P>SOLUTION: The more toner deterioration associated with retaining in developing devices (31K, 31C, 31M and 31Y) progresses, the larger the supply amount of the lubricant to the photoreceptor drum 11 by a photoreceptor cleaning unit 12 is made. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2003,JPO |
