<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an optical member with a superior antireflection film having not only a low reflectance and a high transmissivity, but also superior impact resistance, adhesiveness, heat resistance, abrasion resistance and alkali resistance on a plastic substrate and having high productivity, and a manufacturing method therefor. <P>SOLUTION: The optical member has a plastic substrate and a antireflection film deposited by vacuum vapor deposition, wherein at least one layer of the antireflection film is a hybrid layer made of an inorganic substance and an organic substance, and the manufacturing method for depositing the antireflection film by vacuum vapor deposition is provided. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2003,JPO |
