<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an oxide magnetic material based permanent magnet, superior in magnetic characteristics by improving alignment and sintered body density, while being aimed at low cost. <P>SOLUTION: The oxide magnetic material based permanent magnet includes a binder-adding process for adding and mixing a binder to and with raw material powder containing an oxide magnetic material, a moisture-regulating process for regulating moisture in a molding mixture containing the raw material powder and the binder, a magnetic field dry molding process for putting a moisture regulated molding mixture in a metal mold, pressing it in an applied magnetic field and arranging the easy magnetization direction of the oxide magnetic material powder, and a baking process for baking a molded body. In the binder- adding process, the binder is fatty acid ester-based wax, and the molding mixture put in the metal mold of the magnetic field dry molding process is constituted so that the existence ratio of agglomerates of 500 μm or greater, existing in the molding mixture being 0.01-0.8 wt.%. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2003,JPO |
