PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a sprocket which is clamped without changing a chuck claw in spite of the number of teeth of the sprocket, an appearance of the sprocket, a size of an outer diameter of the sprocket or the like and in which the number of the chuck claw items used is reduced, and clamping of the sprocket is strongly carried out in lathe processing such as lateral tooth shape processing for cutting a side surface of the sprocket tooth part, in shaft hole processing or the like. SOLUTION: The sprocket 11 has chucking long holes 15 for being clamped at the time of lateral tooth shape processing for cutting a side surface of a tooth part 12, shaft hole processing or the like. The three long holes 15 for chucking are arranged on the same circumference between the tooth part 12 and the shaft hole 13 at an equal interval. The sprocket is strongly clamped in above processing by chucking the long holes 15 for chucking by chuck claws of three-claw chuck. COPYRIGHT: (C)2003,JPO
