PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To release a construction key device by means of a duplicate key in a rotary disk tumbler lock with the construction key device. SOLUTION: At least one selected tumbler is designated as a nonoperating tumbler; and locking protrusions are formed in the nonoperating tumblers and engaged with backup pins 81 so as to be put into a nonoperating state. The backup pin 81 is locked by an operating plate 24 movable in the radial direction of an inner cylinder; when a reset tumbler 28, which is arranged in such a manner as to overlap the operating plate 24, is turned by the duplicate key CK2, an unlocking notch 4 is disengaged from a locking bar 11; and the operating plate 24 is moved via a reset protrusion 17d and the reset tumbler 28 by virtue of the movement of the locking bar 11 along with the turning of the inner cylinder, so that the backup pin 81 can be released.
