PURPOSE: A light diffusing device is provided to maximize illumination efficiency in an exhibit hall or in a store by spreading spectrum over a range of 1.5m and allowing people to precisely view the spectrum in an indoor room. CONSTITUTION: A reflective-type diffractive lattice is attached to a concave part having radius of 10cm. The reflective-type diffractive lattice is movable in upward, downward, left and right directions and is formed in such a manner that light is vertically radiated onto a groove formed in the reflective-type diffractive lattice. When light is radiated onto the reflective-type diffractive lattice, reflection light reaches a ceiling or walls of an indoor room. Reflection light is diffused by the reflective-type diffractive lattice before reaching the ceiling or walls of the indoor room. Quantity of light reaching the ceiling or walls of the indoor room is adjusted by controlling a number of grooves. The groove formed in the reflective-type diffractive lattice has a size of 1.5 micrometer. |
