<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a reel in which an information recording disabled area is prevented from being caused or recording information is prevented from being lost by preventing occurrence of so-called tape fold transfer on a recording tape. <P>SOLUTION: The reel includes a hub 26 on which the recording tape T is wound and a power spring 30 fitted to the hub 26. Since the power spring 30 is inevitably wound on the hub 26 as the recording tape T is wound on the hub 26, the power spring 30 covers a container recessed part 32 containing a leader pin 40 and outside of a step difference such as a corner 36 of the power spring 30. Thus, the recording tape T wound on the outer circumferential face of the power spring 30 is not pressed into contact with the step difference and occurrence of so-called tape fold transfer on the recording tape T wound on the reel can be avoided. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2003,JPO</p> |
