<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To significantly improve the recognition ratio by recognizing a mark nearby having a high recognition ratio, and adding the relative coordinate of an intended matter to be known to the recognized position coordinate. <P>SOLUTION: This device comprises a camera 2 for imaging an object of recognition 1a, a storage means 16a for storing the template of a part having a high recognition ratio near the object 1a in the image of the camera 2 and the position data of the object 1a in the image of the camera 2, and an image recognition means 13a for performing a pattern matching between the image of the camera 2 and the template. The image recognition means 13a performs a pattern matching for determining which position of the image of the camera 2 is matched to the template to determine the recognition position of the template image, and adds a differential vector to the object 1a which is determined by the position data to the determined recognition position. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2003,JPO |
