<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an objective lens for an optical pickup to remove the dew condensation on a lens surface by the heat generation of a light absorbing heater which is formed on the lens surface. <P>SOLUTION: This objective lens is formed with a substrate 5 whereon a 1st lens 1 is formed, a substrate 6 whereon a 2nd lens 4 is formed, and an adhesive 3 for sticking and fixing the substrates 5 and 6, and also the light absorbing heater 2 is formed around the outside of the substrate 5, the light absorbing heater 9 is formed at the inside, and the light absorbing heater 10 is formed around the outside of the substrate 6, the light absorbing heater 8 is formed at the inside, while these heaters are formed at the positions not interrupting the optical path of the 1st lens 1 and the 2nd lens 4. The light absorbing heaters are formed at the positions shown in the case of figure 1, but any position is acceptable provided that the optical path is not interrupted. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2003,JPO |
