<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image forming apparatus equipped with a cooling mechanism capable of efficiently cooling the inside of a machine with low noise. <P>SOLUTION: This image forming apparatus is equipped with a suction fan 21 for sucking outside air, a U-turn duct 23 allowing an air current sucked by the fan 21 and passing through the inside of a photoreceptor 13 having aperture parts at both ends to make a U-turn, a duct 24 allowing the air current passing through the duct 23 to pass between a fixing unit 11 and a cleaning unit 12, and a ventilating fan 25 for discharging the air current passing through the duct 24 to the outside of the machine. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2003,JPO |
