PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To shorten the time required for measurement, to improve the accuracy in measuring angle and to minimize a measuring device, in the device for measuring an visual angle characteristic of reflection of a reflection-type or semi-transmissive liquid crystal display device. SOLUTION: A tip 3 of an optical fiber is mounted on a reflective light source unit 12, and the light reflected from a panel is picked up by a CCD camera at a rear end 4 of the optical fiber to detect the quantity of light.
