The stern (11) of the pleasure craft hull has a hinged trapdoor (20) that can be lowered to form a horizontal platform giving access to the sea. A panel (22) that is set in a recess (24) in the trapdoor surface and hinged to its upper edge acts as a holder for raising and lowering the trapdoor manually. It has a telescopic handle with a slider (27) that folds away whe not in use, and when the trapdoor is in its raised position the deployed panel (22) acts as a seat.
