<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an attitude detecting sensor capable of attaining a miniaturized and simplified structure. <P>SOLUTION: The attitude detecting sensor detects a relative gap of h and an inclination of α of a measured object 18 with respect to a reference object 20. The attitude detecting sensor 10 is equipped with a divergent light source 12, set on either of the objects, or being either of the objects itself, which emits a divergent light 26 that forms a spot on a detecting means 14 with the size varied according to the gap of h and the shape varied according to the inclination of α, and the detecting means 14 which receives the divergent light 26 from the divergent light source 12 set on either of the two objects, or being either of the objects itself and detects the spot size and shape, and an attitude computing means 16 which derives the gap of h and the inclination of α based on the spot size and shape obtained with the detecting means 14. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2003,JPO |
