PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a dryer which is used for oxidative polymerization dry type inks, to provide a printing ink containing the dryer, to provide a dryer capable of solving a problem that a VOC content-reduced printing ink or a VOC content-reduced printing ink containing soybean oil as the main component of a vehicle is liable to cause a blocking trouble, and to provide a printing ink containing the dryer. SOLUTION: The dryer comprises a fatty acid cerium salt and a fatty acid manganese salt. The dryer comprises a fatty acid manganese salt and a fatty acid metal salt in which≥50 wt.% of the metal is cerium. The dryer comprises a fatty acid iron salt and a fatty acid manganese salt.
