PORTABLE INFORMATION PROCESSOR

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a thin and light portable information processor whose impact-resistivity is improved by preventing the damage of a casing or a liquid crystal display device due to any careless drop or the like even at the time of making a display part thin, and mounting an antenna for communication without projecting any protrusion from the surface of the casing.

SOLUTION: Covers 7 and 8 of a box configuration are fitted to the right and left side faces of the processor so as to nip a back casing 4 and a front case body 5 so that the unity of the back casing 4 and the front case body 5 can be reinforced. The covers 7 and 8 themselves are formed like box shapes with high secondary moment of area for increasing bending rigidity to any outer force so that high impact-resistivity to the outer force can be realized as a whole by those synergistic effects.
