<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a transmitting/receiving device which produces a zero point in an added beam pattern and a subtracted beam pattern of a receiving array antenna in order to reduce interference of radio waves which are emitted from a transmitting antenna, in the receiving array antenna. <P>SOLUTION: In order to reduce the interference of the radio waves emitted from the transmitting antenna, an excitation phase for producing the zero point at an azimuth of the transmitting antenna is obtained by using a measuring device of element electric field 8, which forms the added beam pattern and the subtracted beam pattern of the receiving array antenna in close proximity to the transmitting antenna, and measures the electric field received by each antenna element of the receiving antenna based on an added signal generated from the added beam pattern and a subtracted signal generated from the subtracted beam pattern. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2003,JPO</p> |
