<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To constitute a video database for karaoke which enables a karaoke device to speedily display a mood picture of a next song if a currently played song is interrupted halfway. <P>SOLUTION: A constituting method for the video database for karaoke which (a) constitutes the video database for karaoke by using many disk media of the same standards where karaoke video is recorded comprises: (b) classifying many video raw materials of proper length into (n) kinds of emergency video by adaptivity to (n) kinds of musical properties; (c) setting emergency video areas Xm (m=1, 2,..., n) which are sectioned into (n) on portions of the disk media and allocating a reproduction position specification number Ym common to the respective media to those emergency video areas Xm; (d) recording one kind of emergency video among the (n) classifications in one emergency video area Xm of each disk medium specified with the one reproduction position specification number Ym and reproducing the emergency video classified to the same kind whatever disk medium is used once the reproduction position specification number Ym is determined; and (e) recording many raw materials of video for karaoke irrelevant to the classification of musical properties at other parts of the respective disk media. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2003,JPO |
