<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a light emitting device having a large quantity of light, capable of easily setting an emitting light color, and providing a high light emitting efficiency. <P>SOLUTION: In this light emitting device, an electroluminescence light emitting laminated body formed of a positive electrode layer, a light emitting function layer, and a negative electrode layer is fixed to the inner surface of a curved non-moisture permeable substrate so that the positive electrode layer side or the negative electrode layer side thereof faces the inner surface of the substrate. A non-moisture permeable protective plate is non-moisture permeably connected to the edge part of the curved substrate or the portion of the curved substrate in proximity to the edge part. An electric connection terminal is connected to the positive electrode layer and the negative electrode layer of the electroluminescence light emitting laminated body for supplying an electric energy from the outside to the electrode layers. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2003,JPO |
