<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable a user to operate an electronics device unfailingly even in a site where the user cannot operate the device directly. <P>SOLUTION: In program recording reservation system 1, the user set an operation content regarding a program recording reservation via a cellular phone in a program recording reservation administration server 6 so that the user can reserve to record a desired broadcast program. The program recording reservation administration server 6 instructs a video tape recorder 7 to execute the program recording reservation operation based on the operation content. Following the instruction, the video tape recorder 7 executes the program recording reservation operation in accordance with the operation content set via the cellular phone 2, recognizes the operation result when the program recording reservation operation is completed, and informs the cellular phone 2 of the operation result. Accordingly, the user can execute the recording reservation of the desired broadcast program to the video tape recorder 7 even from a remote site, and check if the program recording reservation is correctly set in the video tape recorder 7. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2003,JPO |
