<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a wind environment predicting method capable of executing rational simulation by arithmetic processing capacity of a personal computer level. <P>SOLUTION: The average height of a building and topography of a range being an object of wind environment predicting evaluation is determined from read-in map information data, and the first calculation area height is arithmetically operated by multiplying this average height by a prescribed value. The maximum height of the building and the topography of the range being the object of the wind environment predicting evaluation is determined from the read-in map information data, and the second calculation area height is arithmetically operated by multiplying this maximum height by a prescribed value. A large value is selected by comparing the first calculation area height with the second calculation area height. A simulation area is modeled by three-dimensional data. Three-dimensional data for a fluid calculation is formed to the simulation area modeled with the selected calculation area height as the calculation height. A wind environment predicting arithmetic operation to the simulation area is executed by applying the fluid calculation to the three-dimensional data for the fluid calculation and wind data by accepting input of the wind data, and an arithmetic operation result of predicting wind environment is presented. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2003,JPO</p> |
