PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a manufacturing method of a motor for a power window device, capable of making complete sealing by preventing deformation and shrinkage during part forming. SOLUTION: This motor includes a combination of a first mold 42, having a recessed section for forming a front-end side section of a sealing member 31 and a second mold 43, having a recessed section for forming the base-end section of the sealing member 31. Mating surfaces 49 of the first mold 42 and the second mold 43 are set at a position on facing inner panel side closer to the bottom face position of a lip section on the outermost side, to form the sealing member 31.
