PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a recording tape cartridge the leader member of which is supported by an inner face of a case so as to prevent the leader member from being fallen off even when the case receives a shock due to falling or the like. SOLUTION: The recording tape cartridge includes: the case containing a reel with a recording tape wound thereon; an opening formed to the case and used for extracting the recording tape; and the leader member fixed to the tip of the recording tape and extracted to an extraction means at a driver side. A part to be held is provided to a face opposed to the case inner face of the leader member, and a holding part freely inserted to the part to be held is provided to the case inner face.
