PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce the load of a caretaker by prior registration of a fingerprint, when managing entering a building and outgoing therefrom by fingerprint recognition. SOLUTION: At the normal time, personal identification devices 8, 9, 12, and 14 determines aye and nay of passage by fingerprint recognition, and unlocks doors 6, 10, and 13 respectively when passage is permitted. When a guard or the like changes a signal transmission device (switch) 7 to the ON state, the determination level value of a fingerprint recognition rate set in the personal identification devices 8, 9, and 12 is lowered to zero. Hereby, the doors 6, 10 are unlocked only by performing fingerprint recognition to the personal identification devices 8, 9, and 12 by the guard or the like. COPYRIGHT: (C)2003,JPO
