PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a ceiling-buried air-conditioning device and a control method for a louver for wind direction control of the ceiling-buried air- conditioning device improving the control of operation of the louver for wind direction control to prevent contamination of a ceiling in operating. SOLUTION: The ceiling-buried air-conditioning device has a louver 16 for wind direction control disposed rotatably on an air outlet 15 and a louver driving means 17 rotating the louver 16 within a prescribed rotation width. In the ceiling-buried air-conditioning device and the control method of louver using it, the position of the louver before a shift is set toward the horizontal side from a set section point. When the louver is positioned toward the horizontal side from the section point after the shift, the louver is first positioned toward the vertical side from the section point using the louver driving means 17 and then positioned toward the horizontal side again.
