PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an optical pickup for reducing sticking yield by preventing the position of an actuator from moving when the actuator is adhesively fixed, an optical disk drive, a method for manufacturing the optical pickup, and the optical pickup manufactured by the method. SOLUTION: Screw holes 57 and 58 for fixing are provided at the positions of both sides sandwiching an actuator 40 inserted into an opening part 53 in a die-cast base 50, and screws 67 and 68 for fixing are inserted before adjusting the position of the actuator 40 inserted into the opening part 53 and before sticking the actuator 40. The screws 67 and 68 for fixing are screwed into the screw holes 57 and 58 for fixing, the yoke 50 of the actuator is sandwiched from both sides, and the adjusted actuator 40 is fixed so as not to move from its adjusted position.
