PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent crosstalk between the transcoil of a recording system and the transcoil of a reproducing system. SOLUTION: A rotary drum unit 28 is roughly constituted of a fixed drum 34 fixed on a main chassis 32, a rotary drum 36 rotatably supported above the fixed drum 34, a rotary shaft 38 connected to the center hole 36a of the rotary drum 36, and a motor 40 for rotary-driving the rotary shaft 38. A recording rotary transformer 78 is arranged between the upper surface of the rotary drum 36 and a supporting member 42, and a reproducing rotary transformer 80 is arranged between the bottom surface of the rotary drum 36 and the fixed drum 34. Thus, since the recording rotary transformer 78 and the reproducing rotary transformer 80 are separated from each other to positions in an axial direction, superimposition of noise on a reproducing signal caused by crosstalk is prevented.
