PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a camera device capable of improving operability by operating an operation part interlocked with the turning mechanism of a liquid crystal display device, operated even in a state where a camera is held and provided in a camera main body. SOLUTION: This camera device 1 is equipped with the liquid crystal display device 3 which can be set to a 1st state where the display device is arranged at a position nearly parallel with the back of the camera or a 2nd state where the display device is arranged to have inclination to the nearly parallel position and which displays a subject image fed from an image pickup lens 4. An operation dial 10 for selecting the 1st state or the 2nd state is arranged in the vicinity of a grip part 6 operated in a state where the camera is held. Since the dial 10 constitutes the interlocking mechanism of the device 3, it is operated even in a state where the device 1 is held. COPYRIGHT: (C)2003,JPO
