PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a multi-core optical connector and its manufacturing method which can improve polishing precision and shorten a polishing time. SOLUTION: The multi-core optical connector 10 provided with a plurality of optical fiber insertion holes 12 in which at least tip parts of a plurality of optical fibers are held while arrayed almost in parallel is provided with such a projection part 16 that at least an opening circumference of an end surface where the plurality of optical fiber insertion holes 12 are open projects from its outside to the axial tip sides of the optical fibers.
