PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To develop a creep testing machine capable of performing a creep test in a state of keeping actual stress constant by adjusting the tensile force acting on a test piece. SOLUTION: The information from a shape sensor 8 is transmitted to a control means 11 by the creep testing machine 1 having the shape sensor 8 for measuring the sectional shape of the test piece 2, a pulling device of which the tensile force acting on the test piece 2 is adjustable, and the control means 11 connected to the shape sensor 8 and the pulling device 6, and the tensile force generated from the pulling device 6 is adjusted on the basis of the command of the control means 11, whereby the creep test can be performed while constantly keeping the actual stress acting on the test piece 2 at all times.
