The smoke exhaust hatch comprises a chassis (1) mounted around an aeration orifice and fitted with longitudinal rails (7,7'). A cover (2) able to translate along the rails between orifice open and closed positions is controlled by a motor (3) rotating a screw (4) engaging a nut (5). The cover is fitted with a series of pairs of rollers, which are guided along a running track parallel to the cover, each comprising a series of sealed housings. The cover and the chassis are each fitted with pairs of cams with complementary inclined corner surfaces which enter into contact at the end of the cover closing movement so as to introduce the rollers into the sealed housing and to plate the cover against the sealing joint. |
