摘要 PURPOSE: An on-line game system based on geographic information for supporting a publicity and a sales promotion of a cooperated company and a method thereof are provided to supply accurate geographic information with respect to a cooperated company by manufacturing a virtual game map based on actual geographic information and displaying a position of the cooperated company on the game map. CONSTITUTION: An operator server receives information of a cooperated company displayed on a game map manufactured in actual geographic information and stores the information in a database(S100). The information of the cooperated company includes a detailed position, a contact place, event information, and a kind, a price, and advertising data of a sold commodity of the cooperated company. The operator server executes a member joining process and a member authenticating process of each user connected through a communication network(S200). The operator server sets a geographical point in proportion to a use rate of each user with respect to advertising data being supplied by the cooperated company, and transmits game progress information being executed based on a selection signal of the user with respect to a game variable and a game method being interlocked with the geographical point to a user terminal(S300).
