SUPPORT MEMBER FOR ELECTROCHEMICAL CELL, SUPPORT STRUCTURE FOR ELECTROCHEMICAL CELL AND ELECTROCHEMICAL DEVICE

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a structure in which aggregation of electrochemical cells can be made relatively easily and gas leakage possibility due to repetition of a heat cycle of temperature-rise and temperature-drop is made little, and thereby degradation of the efficiency of the cells can be prevented.

SOLUTION: The electrochemical cell 9 made of a plate-shape ceramic having a through hole 9a is supported by a support member 1. The support member 1 is made of ceramics and comprises a flat plate-shape main body 1a and a protruded part 1b that protrudes from the main body 1a and is to be inserted into the through hole 9a. One of the support holes 2A for supplying one of the gas and the other support hole 2B for supplying the other gas are provided at the support member 1. A flat first seal face 1c for one of the main faces 9a of the electrochemical cell 9, while the protruded part 1b is inserted into the through hole 9a, is provided at the main body 1a.
