<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an abnormal sound preventing structure for an air conditioner that does not generate abnormal sound without using a projection bringing a decorative panel into line contact with a frame body, or without applying adhesive tapes and a silicone-based lubricant. <P>SOLUTION: The abnormal sound preventing structure for the air conditioner comprises a frame body made of a synthetic resin constituting the rear face of the air conditioner and a decorative panel body constituting the front face of the air conditioner.
